One Month!

One month ago, our Christmas baby came into the world!  Dylan is growing fast and now weighs over 10 pounds!  We are having fun getting to know him each day!   

A Bug Party!

With a newborn baby and the possibility of a January rainstorm, I knew long ago that I wouldn't want to host a party in our home or backyard this year.  We decided to have the party instead at the lodge of our community park.  Thank goodness we did because cleaning was the last thing on my mind and who would've guessed we'd have an entire week of rain before the party!  Friends and family came to celebrate with Parker and it was a super fun afternoon for everyone!  Everything turned out more "whimsical" than I imagined and we're still finding little plastic bugs all over the house!  Happy 2nd "Bugday," Parker! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Birthday Parker!!

Where, oh where does the time go?!  Once again I find myself saying how hard it is to believe that my "baby" is 2!!  Parker is such a sweet blessing to our family!  He is quite the goofy little guy and loves making us laugh and smile!  We celebrated his birthday morning with special birthday pancakes made this year by Papa who was in town for the celebration!  THANKS, Papa!!  That night we went to Red Robin for a birthday dinner (the kid LOVES their fries!!)  As I kissed him goodnight, I think I could tell he was a little taller, a little smarter and so much more grown up!  Happy Birthday, Parker!

Our Soccer Super Star!

Ever since Carson was about 6 months old, he has loved anything to do with soccer balls!  We have sweet memories of him shrieking over balls and "running" up and down the hallway with Jeff "kicking" the ball back and forth!  Well, now the time has come for him to get to play on a real team!  He had his first practice and game this week playing indoor soccer for Valley-Wide.  I think I was in tears laughing at the cuteness!  We'll see how the season treats him!!
